Rex had an idea to use Rackafracka cartoons on a dry erase board in the lobby of his new store to grab attention for some products that he sells. He also bought some single panel cartoons that were printed at a poster size and hung them on the wall. All the cartoons are promoting Cartridge World and the products that they sell. If you live and work in San Francisco or if you need your print cartridges refilled please stop by the new location and help support your local cartoonist by telling Rex how much you like the cartoons!

Most of the jokes I come up with while you are speaking and I try to make them topical to the subject matter of your presentation.

This last month the United States Treasury’s Bureau of National Debt had issued a request for bid out the world of cartoonists to perform on the spot cartoons for the low self esteem employees of the Bureau. Yours truly actually considered the idea to bid since this is what I do most every day. How ever Yahoo reported in this article that the whole idea was scratched since a congress person did not see the value in raising the moral of the people having to issue out I.O.U.’s to other countries. Plus I would have demanded money up front since you know the Bureau of National Debt is in the hole, I gotsta get paid!

    Points and Authorities the quarterly newsletter for the great law firm Buchalter Nemer has picked one of my favorite cartoons that I’ve done in a while to be in their winter issue. Although I posted this in October, the subject matter of the “light at the end of the tunnel” is perfect for times like these that we live in. Of course if you watch or read the news you may not be that optimistic.

    I like this news letter because it is very well designed and professional. I don’t know if this was design on purpose by Buchalter’s designer or if it was a happy mistake but the colors of the motif on the front matches my cartoon perfectly.

    Our very own Dan Wheeler from Buchalter Nemer was the one who introduced me their marketing department. I’ve been doing custom cartoons for them for about a year now.
