Job Description-Operations Manger
The ideal candidate should posses a strong knowledge of both business and the fitness industry. The candidate must be a proven leader with a high degree of confidence, tenacity, and passion for success. This position has high visibility and requires an individual with outstanding oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with all areas and levels of the organization. In addition, the individual must be well organized, yet comfortable in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment. Finally, this position requires high energy, a “roll-up you sleeves†attitude and a commitment to success.
Responsibilities:
– Expansion Project Manager — Assist with expansion of state of the art training facility
– Manage Fitness Floor — Oversee that personnel, equipment and protocols run efficiently
– Manage Fitness Professionals — Ensure administrative protocols are executed
– Manage continuing education programs and workshops
– Oversee employee hiring, training and orientation of fitness professionals
– Providing outstanding customer service to our clients
Qualifications:
– 5+ years of experience business / corporate firm(s)
– 5+ years of experience training and/or coaching
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
– Good knowledge of software, systems and databases
– Ability to travel periodically as necessary
– In-depth knowledge of coaching & multisport industry is extremely helpful
Compensation:
Dependent on experience: salary range of $40k-$60K, health care and performance-based compensation. *Note: additional 15-25k for coaching/training
