Betty is currently enrolled in the graduate Gerontology program at SFSU. She has taught on the extension faculties of San Francisco and San Jose State Universities and has been listed in Who’s Who in the West.

Coaching for Career Changing, 50+ Career Exploration or “retirement”

– I’m thinking of changing my job.
– I don’t know what I want to do, but I know it isn’t this!
– I’m concerned about layoffs in my organization.
– I really want to do something else.
– I have this important job interview coming up and I don’t want to blow it!
– I’m unhappy in my job but have to stay until retirement. (Planning ahead provides relief from unhappiness.)
– I’m going to retire in the next 5 years.
– I’ve retired and have been playing golf for the past 6 months and it’s not cutting it any more. I need to find something to do.
– I won’t ever retire, but I would like to have more in the last chapter of my life.

Coaching for Growing a Small Business (not the financial side)

What to say: (This is a good general approach to most situations.)
