Last summer, I wrote a :60 Web video demonstration for Batter Blaster, a new organic pancake and waffle batter in a can.

Today, the client made front page news in the SF Chronicle. Batter Blaster is taking off. It’s now available for purchase at Costco, Andronico’s, Whole Foods, and a few markets in the Arizona and the Pacific Northwest.

Like other specialty food items like bagged lettuce and organic produce, it costs more than the ingredients alone. But like the others, you’re paying for convenience and quality.

  • Here’s an excerpt from today’s SF Chronicle article: Inventor Says He Has A Batter Idea: “The Batter Blaster Web site features a campy homemade commercial complete with a jingle that seems written specifically to become embedded in a consumer’s skull for the rest of the month. (’Make a Bet-ter Breakfast Faster… Batter Blaster.’)”
  • Read the back story about Batter Blaster on my Website.
  • Read the review I wrote about it in Vagablond.com with a link to the story in the Chronicle. Vagablond is a global online magazine/blog about food, wine, shopping and travel.
